Remote intervention in nuclear risky conditions.

Within the framework of its activities in robotics and tele-robotics in risky conditions, CYBERNETIX proposes tele-operated systems for intervention in the event of nuclear incident and nuclear installation.

These systems (LMF, MENHIR, EROS) consists in caterpillars vehicules equipped with articulated arms. They are tele-operated from a monitoring station (off-set).

The dialogue between the monitoring station and the robot is established through a serial link (hertzian or coaxial according to the applications).

In all the cases, and in order to ensure the necessary flows for the emission to the remote controls and the reception of telemeterings, while respecting a paramount determinism which is necessary for the quality of the tele-operation, ACKSYS's MCX boards are used to manage the whole serial traffic intervening in the chain of dialogue between the pilot and his vehicle.
