with RS232 and RS422/485 electrical
interfaces designed to fit the requirements of the following sectors of
the industry:
These products alllow you access to the serial peripherals from the Windows,
UNIX & LINUX stations connected to the Ethernet TCP/IP with no need
to modify existing software using standard COM ports.
You may thus link together serial peripherals that are distant from one
another without the need to install any specific cabling and while using
the network infrastructure already existing in your premises, share serial
links or build bridges between the Ethernet Network and serial links,
etc …
These products also enables to integrate within the same network both
MODBUS serial (ASCII & RTU) based equipments and equipments using
the MODBUS/TCP Protocol. They are installed as a bridge between the Ethernet
network and your existing MODBUS equipment, thus it simplifies dramatically
the extension of a standard application to MODBUS/TCP over the Ethernet
network.
COMETH range combines the flexibility
and power of the TCP/IP Protocol, as well as the universality of the Ethernet
networks.

Note 1:
The Ethernet interfaces of the COMETH products are compatible
with any 10/100 Base TX equipment (network card or SWITCH) featuring self-commutation,
the serial data transfer between the COMETH and the SWITCH is carried
out at 10 Mbps while the transfer of the data between the SWITCH and the
main network is carried out at 100 Mbps.
