WL-IDA/N WiFi Access Point & Ethernet Bridge for industrial automation

ACKSYS characterizes its range of wireless communication solutions (WiFi) by introducing a new model designed for embedded applications in the transportation fields.

Used in the BRIDGE mode, the WL-IDA/N enables to connect any industrial equipment featuring a 10/100 Ethernet interface to the WiFi wireless network.

The WL-IDA/N device is also designed to work as a wireless bridge between the wired MODBUS/TCP protocol and the radio network, this feature allows to connect any MODBUS/TCP equipment to this network.

Thanks to its built-in WEB interface, the setup of the device is achieved using the web browser installed on your computer (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla ...).
WL-IDA/N doesn't require any additional software to be installed in your computer (no peripheral driver needed).

WL-IDA/N comes with an omnidirectional 2 dBi built-in antenna (standard coverage), an external higher gain antenna can be connected instead for longuer distance communications through an RP-SMA connector.
