Downgrading to version 2.x.x.x on WLn range

If you absolutely need to downgrade to 2.x.x.x release, after the download-and-reboot process is finished, you must reset it to factory settings before reconfiguring it and using it again.
So it may be unadviseable to do a downgrade on the field.

Upgrading from version 2.x.x.x on WLn series

If you upgrade a product of the WLn series from version 2.x.x.x to version 3.8.0.1 or older, the first byte of WiFi MAC address can change. If your architecture include repeaters, or MAC address filtering, configuration changes may be necessary on the concerned devices.
