WaveOS : ACKSYS products operating system

 

WaveOS is the universal operating system for all ACKSYS wireless communicating products offering a user-friendly web interface to configure the various access networks (WiFi, LTE, Ethernet), network functions (VLAN, routing, VPN, firewall …) and different types of services (DHCP, DNS, SNTP, SNMP …).

Thanks to the many years of experience acquired by ACKSYS in designing products used in industrial applications, WaveOS has been enriched with numerous switching and routing functionalities that allow the creation of simple or complex industrial networks, according to its customers’ needs.

By standardizing its wireless product portfolio with a single operating system, ACKSYS offers simplified installation, operation and maintenance of devices that are isolated or integrated into complete networks. Thus, once a user has familiarized himself with an ACKSYS product, his knowledge can be easily reused with the other products of the ACKSYS wireless range.

WaveOS benefits from regular improvements and incorporates a wide range of features:

  • mobility: different roaming methods for all types of industrial applications (production plant, railway, warehouses, etc.)
  • creation of a wireless local network (train-to-train or car-to-car connections)
